“We’re thrilled for the partnership between CBS and Block 319”, said Yuhao Zhang, President at Cambridge Blockchain Society, “Block319’s platform will help present what Cambridge students are building and achieving in blockchain space to a broader audience. At CBS, our goal is to bridge academic research with industry, and we see the collaboration gets us closer to the goal."
CBS was founded in 2018, its mission: ‘to foster a booming Blockchain ecosystem at Cambridge by maintaining a distributed network of students, researchers, entrepreneurs, investors and industry partners’.
“My first introduction to the digital assets sector was through CBS while studying at Homerton College Cambridge, and it is a privilege to be able to partner with an organization to which I personally owe a great deal”, said Jonny Huang, co-founder of Block319. “Watching the society grow year-on year has been hugely impressive, and we’re excited about its current leadership and where it can take CBS”.
CBS undertakes a wide array of blockchain-related initiatives, including but not limited to:
As part of the partnership, Block319 will endeavour to cover any-and-all of the impactful research and developments stemming from CBS and its partners. This will include coverage of events and hackathons, but also research and development progress undertaken by CBS.
